If your insurance is not listed here, you can be provided a "superbill" following services that can be submitted to your insurance to potentially get partial reimbursement. I work closely with other therapists in different practices, so if none of these options work I can help you find someone else who is in network.
Self-Pay
Not everyone has insurance, or they might opt to not use it in order to keep their records separate from insurance documentation. Self-pay is also a great option as some insurances limit the number of sessions you can have with me. As the initial intake appointment is an hour and a half, the rate for that session is $175. This is only the rate for that first session, and that includes a full intake interview to gather information necessary for therapy along with any diagnoses or other necessary testing measures. After that, each subsequent 60 minute session is $125. Forty-five minute sessions are $100, and thirty-minute sessions are $75. I know that money can be a difficult thing to think about and talk about with anyone else involved in your finances, but therapy is truly an investment rather than a cost. Based off market research, this is at or below average for metro Detroit-area counselors. I work to keep my rates as accessible as possible.
